Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches and Mesa Verde National Parks
When we first got to Zion we drove through a tunnel and the whole scenery changed. It was awesome! The first thing we did was go mountain biking and we took a shuttle to the top of Pa’rus trail. We saw all sorts of cool things when we Mountain biked down and it was really fun. After that we hiked up Angel's Landing and August was really close to falling off. on the way up we had to walk up this bridge and there's a chain that you can hold on to that helps you get up the mountain and when we got to the top we saw a mountain goat that made a really annoying sound the whole time we were up there it kind of sounded like, Baaaaaaaaaaaa burp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
But we still had a great time!
When we got to Bryce Canyon we went on the southern scenic drive and it was beautiful. We went horseback riding and Zachary fell off his horse. It was a long, brutal ride for Zachary. Then we hiked back to the car and left for Arches.
When we arrived at arches we immediately walked to the landscape arch and it was amazing to see because it was so long. Then we walked to the tallest arch in arches national at a wapping 144 feet then we left.
When we got to Mesa Verde we bought tickets for the tour of cliff dwelling. It was amazing, the inside of those ancient homes was stunning. Then we went on the Petroglyph Point trail. The Petroglyphs were basically little cravings of people. There were supposed to be little stories but from our understanding it was a bunch of scribbles.
